On February 14-18, 2023, the Japan Suiseki Assocation (JSE) held its 10th annual exhibition in the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Ueno Park. This event attracted many foreign stone enthusiasts since the Covid pandemic restrictions were lifted.

The catalog is divided into six sections: special entries, tokonoma displays, guest entry, general exhibits, entries from abroad, and a special exhibition. Combined, these sections present an excellent overview of the current status of Japanese suiseki. Studying this catalog and the preceding catalogs is a great way to learn about current suiseki practices in Japan.
