“Going Beyond the Shape”
by Severa Disingrini, Italy
During my hikes along the sandy banks of the Po River (Lombardy, Italy), I often find stones with abstract and curious shapes. This stone is completely natural; it has only been cleaned of sand and the small pebbles that filled its cavities.
The base was designed and intended in a minimal way to leave space and light only for the unusual shapes of this stone, which measures: H 23 cm, W 22 cm, D 6 cm. It is in the collection of Severa Disingrini.
