“Memories on Grassy Knoll”

A small Japanese hut stone that at one time, housed a family struggling for existence. Now, it serves as a summer weekend retreat. It is displayed in a circular bronze tray with a raised bed covered with moss. It serves as an intermediate form between typical suiseki displays and tray landscape arrangements known as bonkei.
