“Untitled”
This large Nanham River stone from the eastern mountainous region of South Korea has a deep rich dark brown color and numerous ridges and valleys resulting from long exposure to flowing waters. It is displayed in a vertical position which shows strength and a degree of permanency compared to the short life span of a human life. This type of viewing stone is highly prized in Korea. It was displayed in the 43rd National Suseok Exhibition in Pohang.
