Rafael Monje Garcia collected this rugged landscape stone in San Sebastian, Guipuzcoa, Spain about twenty years ago. He is a life-long collector of Spanish stones and carves his own bases. The base is made from American walnut and has a lacquered finish. The style of the base is similar to those made for Japanese Furuya stones. The stone is 30 cm wide, 6 cm high, and 13 cm deep.
