This large river cobble with an extraordinary pattern is a rare find. It immediately evokes a tree-lined scene and a more distant low forested mountain range in the background. A fast-flowing river in the foreground and ribbons of clouds drifting above the landscape make this the most obvious interpretation of this suseok. The landscape scene continues on the back of the stone, making it difficult to determine the front from the back. The shape of this stone and its pattern were made by centuries of rapidly flowing water laden with sand and gravel. It was collected in Okdong stream, a small tributary of the Donggang River, in a mountainous region with gorges and limestone deposits roughly 150 km east of Seoul.

This stone is 37 cm wide, 28 cm high, and 13 cm thick and is owned by Ahn Dong-geun. It was displayed in a Korean Senior Association Gyeryong University Regional held July 4^th and 5th.
