“Moods”
This is a natural, unaltered piece of river-washed wax stone from northwestern Malaysia. This stone can be viewed from all three faces of its triangular form. Each face evokes different feelings, from gentle and calming to strong, intense, deeply cutting anger.
The deep, rich dark tan color comes from iron oxide deposits throughout the fine-grained quartz. The polished surface results from its exposure to sand and gravel in flowing water. It can be displayed on a wooden base or in a tray with sand. It is approximately 20 cm wide on each face.
